Basic Program in Analytical Psychology in collaboration with members of the Ukrainian Jungian Association and IM IAAP of Poland, Slovenia, and Great Britain.

The program meets the IAAP (International Association for Analytical Psychology) standards for basic programs and is recommended by the Ukrainian Jungian Association as an original foundational program in the theory and practice of C.G. Jung's analytical psychology.

The program includes two levels of training:

Format: once a month on weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

To participate: higher education required.
Completion of an individual interview is mandatory!

The professional training program in analytical counseling and Jungian psychotherapy is aimed at psychologists interested in depth psychology who seek an in-depth study of the specifics of psychological work with the unconscious.

"Foundations of Analytical Counseling and Jungian Psychotherapy" is a multi-level professional training for psychologists preparing for practical work in analytical counseling and psychotherapeutic practice.

Carl Gustav Jung, the greatest thinker and psychologist of his time, founded analytical psychology and made an invaluable contribution to understanding the mechanisms of the psyche, the collective and personal unconscious.
Today, C.G. Jung's ideas unite specialists in analytical psychology from 28 countries within the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Ukraine is also represented in the IAAP by certified analysts who have formed the professional community of the UJA.

The program offers you:

I. Basic Level: "Foundations of Analytical Counseling and Jungian Psychotherapy":

1. First module: You will get acquainted with the most effective methods and techniques of the main psychotherapeutic schools of the humanistic tradition.

2. Second module: You will study the basic concepts of analytical psychology: Persona, Shadow, Ego, Anima, Animus, Self. The concept of the Ego-Self axis, "bodily Self and relational Self" (E. Neumann). Archetypes, myths, symbols according to Marie-Louise von Franz, J. Hillman. Approaches of three schools: archetypal, classical, and developmental.

3. Third module: You will develop practical skills in counseling and conducting a therapeutic session. This crucial skill will be practiced in a hands-on format. You will understand the principle of conscious and unconscious mechanisms in the therapeutic alliance. This module focuses on developing therapeutic dialogue skills.

4. Fourth module: You will gain a theoretical and practical foundation for working with common client issues:

  • fears and phobias; aggressive behavior and auto-aggression;
  • working with self-esteem and self-worth;
  • dreams and their unconscious messages;
  • codependent behavior and the Fusion complex (N. Schwartz-Salant);
  • suicidal behavior and overcoming the "Don't live" message.

Total of 4 modules including 26 seminars, 420 hours.

II. Second stage of training:

Theoretical-supervision course "Jungian Therapy", 2 years — 12 seminars.

Teaching the theoretical-supervision course involves Jungian analysts and IAAP supervisors from Central and Eastern Europe, specialists in analytical psychology, and speakers at European conferences (Ukraine, Poland, Great Britain, Slovenia).

You will gain experience in intercultural knowledge exchange, practical achievements, and supervisory work experience.
