WHO WE ARE TODAY

OUR PATH

The development of the Jungian movement in Ukraine began with the support of IAAP. In 2004, the Kyiv Development Group was founded and the Router Programme was implemented — an international training format for countries where their own training programme does not yet exist.

In 2017, Ukrainian analysts who completed IAAP international training founded the Ukrainian Jungian Association as a professional community. In 2019, UJA received the status of a Group Member of IAAP, and in 2022, at the XXII International Congress of IAAP, UJA achieved a key historical milestone — the status of an IAAP Training Group.

Training according to IAAP standards

Tree of Life with a radiant center – a symbol of inner wholeness and development

The training programme is created in accordance with IAAP international standards and ethical principles and is conducted by specialists in the field of analytical psychology and psychotherapy.

The training combines deep theoretical preparation, practical work, supervision and the study of symbolic processes.

Participants have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the analytical approach, develop professional skills and integrate the acquired knowledge into their own practice and personal development.

Quotes from the classics of analytical psychology

Carl Gustav Jung

No tree can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell.

Consciousness is like a boat sailing on the sea of the unconscious. It is sustained by forces it did not create and does not fully control. The task of analytical psychology is to establish a conscious connection with this depth.

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

Dreams prepare, announce or warn us about certain situations, often long before they actually happen... This concerns the fact that our unconscious knows better about those problems and experiences we currently have.

Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to a better understanding of ourselves.

Depression is like a woman in black. If she turns up, don't shoo her away. Invite her in, offer her a seat, treat her like a guest and listen to what she wants to say.

What you fear is what you need to integrate. Your soul knows the way.

If you are gifted, it does not mean you have to receive something. It means you have something to give.
