TRAINING PROCESSES
Ukraine is going through the last-but-one stage of forming a professional analytical society. Ukrainian Jungian Association has been accepted as a Group Member of the International Association of Analytical Psychology (GM IAAP). The following and the last step for UJA will be to receive the training status.
At this stage, the International Association of Analytical Psychology offers two ways of analytical training. The first way lies through the society, the Group Member of IAAP with training status. At present, for Ukrainians who desire to receive analytical training, the opportunities to study in another country are open, where such societies exist (Lithuania, Russia, Switzerland, etc.). In this case, on completing training, the person acquires membership of the society of this country. After that, the analyst can save the membership in this society and simultaneously join the UJA. The International Association of Analytical Psychology allows the possibility of belonging to several societies that are Group Members. Still, the analyst will have the international voting right only in one of these societies. In will be necessary to make a choice in which society the person would like to vote.
The second way of participation in the training process is possible through entering the Router program. The programs of Router training are created by the International Association of Analytical Psychology at the basis of the Development Groups of IAAP accepted by the International Association of Analytical Psychology. Several Router groups have been organized in Ukraine, since May 2008. The last screening interview for the Router program with a limited number of participants has been planned for the nearest time.
A significant event took place on August 31, 2022 at the XXII International Congress of Analytical Psychology in Buenos Aires (Argentina) – the Ukrainian Jungian Association received the status of the IAAP Training Community. This provides an opportunity to start a new era in the development of analytical psychology in Ukraine.
